ABOUT
The Paris Screenwriters Workshop organizes courses and workshops in the art of screenwriting for emerging and developing filmmakers and screenwriters in Paris, France.
Based on the belief that storytelling, like writing, is a skill that is acquired through practice, our workshops seek to demystify screenwriting and stimulate joy in the creative process.
Instruction is in English. Participants come from all over the world and a variety of professional backgrounds; some have made a feature, some are embarking on a very first short film script.
More experienced writers will appreciate the support we offer to help them better achieve their vision, and often feel reinvigorated by our sessions. For those who are starting out, we hope to give you a firm grasp on the fundamentals of storytelling, but also to set the conditions for you to playfully experiment with your craft.
Museum visits, cinema outings, and culinary detours make for a stimulating context as you join the long tradition of artists seeking inspiration in the city of light. Your time with us will bear essential fruit for your story - both on page and off.
